About myself

Mathematics

My studies have concentrated on applied mathematics, especially about solving mathematical models on a computer. This includes optimization and numerical methods for ODEs and PDEs.

In my master thesis, I examined numerical methods for stochastic differential equations (SDEs). SDEs can be thought of a generalisation of ODEs, with an added noise term.

Software Development

I have a wide interest in software development, including programming, usability, design patterns, programming languages, frameworks, project management, and architecture.

In my master thesis I take a closer look at two of the architectural patterns that Martin Fowler presents in his 2003 book Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture. The thesis is in Danish, but there is a short summary in English. The thesis can be downloaded in full (Pdf, 554KB).

Games

I enjoy playing games with my friends. Both roleplaying games and board games. Our roleplaying activities have during the years included lots of one-session games and shorter campaigns.
